Mānuka Honey comes from the nectar of the flower of the Mānuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium) which is indigenous only to New Zealand. It is the nectar and the bee that give this honey its unique properties. Decades of research have culminated to identify the unique signature compounds found in genuine Mānuka Honey.

REWAREWA

Onuku Limited is proud to provide another indigenous native honey to New Zealand, Rewarewa Honey.  The Rewarewa (knightia excelsa) or New Zealand’s Honeysuckle grows to 30 m tall with a slender crown and has long bright red flowers 2 – 3.5 cm long and the nectar the bees gather make a delicious deep reddish amber caramel-like tasting honey.

CLOVER

White clover (Trifolium repens) is New Zealand's most important pasture plant, due to its nitrogen-fixing abilities. It is sown throughout the country and grows well on fertile soils, but struggles in dry areas. Our clover honey is a thick, sweet syrup made by the honeybees that collect the nectar of the clover flower.  A wonder replacement for table sugar, it is light-colored and mild tasting.
