Ingredients (Makes ~15 small cubes):

  • 1½ cups filtered water

  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, sliced or grated

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric (or 1 tbsp fresh turmeric root)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 2–3 tbsp Manuka honey (UMF 15+), added after cooling

  • 3 tbsp grass-fed gelatin powder (not agar)

  • Optional: a pinch of black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)

Instructions:

  1. In a small pot, bring water, ginger, and turmeric to a simmer. Simmer gently for 10–15 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat. Let cool to below 40°C (warm but not hot to the touch).

  3. Strain the liquid into a bowl, stir in lemon juice and Manuka honey.

  4. Gradually whisk in the gelatin powder until fully dissolved and smooth.

  5. Pour mixture into a silicone mold or shallow dish. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until fully set.

  6. Cut into small cubes and store in an airtight container in the fridge (lasts ~1 week).

How to use:

  • Eat 1–2 cubes per day in the morning or afternoon

  • During sore throats or cough, eat slowly and let it dissolve in the mouth

  • Great for daily immune support, especially in cold or allergy seasons
