A naturally sweet, anti-inflammatory tonic that’s gentle on the stomach and great for digestion and immunity. The pear adds a delicate fruitiness you rarely find in honey tonics.

🍐 Ingredients (1–2 servings):

  • 1 ripe pear, peeled and chopped

  • 1.5 cups water

  • 1 tsp fresh grated turmeric (or 1/2 tsp ground)

  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger (optional for warmth)

  • Juice of 1/4 lemon (optional)

  • 1 tbsp Manuka honey

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Simmer the base:
In a small saucepan, add the chopped pear, water, turmeric, and ginger. Simmer over low heat for 10–15 minutes, until the pear is soft and the liquid is golden.

  2. Blend and strain (optional):
Blend the mixture until smooth, then strain for a clear tonic or keep the fiber for a thicker drink.

  3. Add honey and lemon:
Let the liquid cool slightly (below 40°C/104°F), then stir in the Manuka honey and lemon juice.

  4. Serve:
Enjoy warm, or chill and serve over ice as a cold immunity drink.
